The Parchment freshman basketball team kicked off their season with a 50-38 win over Allegan. After a slow start in which they trailed by 12 points the Panthers turned it up a notch and came back for the win.
EZ Liggins paced the team with 22 points, while Ashtian McClanahan added 11. Next action will be Friday versus Berrien Springs.
